Lokahi Reiki is a space for restoring balance, calm, and harmony within. Lokahi is a Hawaiian value meaning unity and balance—mind, body, and spirit working together as one.
Founded by Michelle Bishop, a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience and a Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, Lokahi Reiki blends western medicine with holistic care to support the whole person. Rooted in Michelle’s Native Hawaiian and Japanese heritage, the practice is guided by respect, tradition, and compassionate presence.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports relaxation, emotional balance, and the body’s natural ability to heal. Reiki was founded in Japan in the 1920s by Dr. Mikao Usui and was brought to the United States in 1937 by Mrs. Hawayo Takata in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Lokahi Reiki is honored to practice within this lineage and is a member of the International Center for Reiki Training.
Whether seeking deep relaxation, clarity, or support during life’s transitions, all are welcome here. Reiki meets each person where they are, creating space for alignment, renewal, and a return to harmony.

In person Reiki and an extra 30 minutes to relax on the Healthy Wave 5 Therapy Far Infrared PEMF Mat. (90 minute total)
